What We Do
We offer North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Training (CCHT) with a well-qualified instructor having over three decades of both full and reserve time as a law enforcement firearms instructor and now NC Certified Pistol, Shotgun, and Range Safety Officer certified instructor. Being professional, driven, confident, humorous and patient as learned from years of training speaks to a pride inherent in providing the beginner to the advanced with an experience they will remember for some time. Your instructor, AC Johnson, has a primary goal: to have you feeling prepared to carry a concealed handgun as permitted by the NC-DOJ and a realization of the realities beyond CCHT. Because you have completed the NC DOJ CCH Training requirements, might you need to become more proficient with your handgun? Absolutely. As such, AC offers
1-on-1 Basic Pistol Use and Marksmanship Training; 1-on-1 Basic Shotgun Use and Marksmanship Training and Advanced 1-on-1 Close Quarter Encounter Shooting Skills.
Truth is, we all need ongoing training with the use of our handguns. For those that are beginners, consider spending time with AC, 1-on-1 for two to four hours. Then, on those Tuesdays and Thursdays, he will be on the range with other students so come hang out and get your training in. Training is a true MUST if you are going to carry.
